White Sox OF Quentin out two-to-three weeks, possibly longer
Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Chicago White Sox outfielder Carlos Quentin will undergo surgery on his fractured right wrist on Monday that will sideline him for at least two-to-three weeks.
The surgery will take place at Rush University Medical Center, and the American League MVP candidate will have the wrist re-evaluated down the road to determine the healing progress.
Quentin was a late scratch Tuesday after injuring the wrist Monday in Cleveland.
The 26-year-old leads the AL in home runs with 36, and is batting .287 with 100 runs batted in and 96 runs scored through 130 games.
