Roethlisberger left a 31-0 win over Cleveland on a stretcher after suffering a concussion in the second quarter of the December 28 game.

Just inside the two-minute warning, Roethlisberger completed a short pass to Heath Miller but hit his head on the turf hard after being hit by two Browns defenders.

Boldin suffered the injury during Arizona's win over Atlanta in an NFC Wild Card-round contest this past Saturday.

Specifically, it happened during a 71-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter.

Defensive ends coach Carl Hairston, defensive tackles coach Robert Nunn, secondary coach Kurt Schottenheimer, defensive nickel package/cornerbacks coach Lionel Washington and strength and conditioning coordinator Rock Gullickson were the other coaches fired by the team.

The defense ranked 20th in the league in yards per game, allowing 334.3 yards.

Harrison set a Steelers record with a career-high 16 sacks in helping the Steelers to a 12-4 regular season record and an AFC North title. The 30-year- old also notched an NFL-high seven forced fumbles in addition to 101 tackles and an interception in 15 games this season.

With Harrison as its anchor, Pittsburgh's defense allowed just 237.2 yards per game and 156.9 yards per game through the air, both tops in the league. The Steelers finished second in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game with 80.2, behind only the Minnesota Vikings. Pittsburgh also led the league in fewest points allowed this season.

Chargers head coach Norv Turner said his status for the game will be determined later in the week, and he pointed out that Tomlinson's injury is not any worse than it was last week.

Turner added that it was obvious to the coaching staff that Tomlinson could not play the way he usually does due to the injury. He recorded 25 yards on five rushes with a touchdown in the win over Indianapolis.

Following a 16-14 Philadelphia halftime lead, neither team was able to alter the scoreboard until the Eagles started their fourth drive of the second half with a little under seven minutes to play.

On the first play of the series, Westbrook set up for the screen in the right flat with a host of lineman pulling in front. That sprung the versatile back into the middle of the field, where he turned on the jets to outrun several would-be tacklers. A final block from Kevin Curtis inside the 10 allowed for a 23-14 lead.

Smith was limited in practice this week and listed as questionable coming into Sunday.

Cornerback Asante Samuel (hip), running back Brian Westbrook (knee, ankle) and offensive tackle Jon Runyan (knee) were also listed as questionable, with all having missed parts of practice this week, but all are active for the contest.

Williams missed the last two games of the regular season with a broken right shoulder blade but hoped to play on Sunday against Philadelphia.

One half of Minnesota's formidable defensive tackle duo alongside Kevin Williams, Pat recorded 44 tackles and one sack this season in 14 games.

With the victory, Baltimore advances to play the Tennessee Titans next weekend.

The Ravens forced five turnovers and limited Miami to 276 yards, continuing their remarkable turnaround from last season. Baltimore went 5-11 in 2007, finishing last in the AFC North, but under first-year head coach John Harbaugh, they went 11-5 in the regular season.

Cowher, who has been rumored for multiple NFL head coaching vacancies in recent days, said the timing is not right for his return to the sidelines. Instead, he will remain as an analyst for CBS.

Cowher served as the head coach for the Steelers for 15 years, with two Super Bowl appearances. Pittsburgh lost Super Bowl XXX following the 1995 season to the Dallas Cowboys, but won Super Bowl XL after the 2005 campaign over Seattle. Cowher's Steelers teams went 149-90, and reached the postseason in 10 out of 15 seasons.

Tomlinson is dealing with a groin strain after battling through a toe injury all season, while Gates has an ankle injury. Neither were able to participate in practice this week leading up to Saturday.

In addition, linebacker Brandon Siler is doubtful with a foot injury and has also missed the duration of practice this week.

Brackett originally suffered the fibula injury November 30 in a 10-6 win against Cleveland and has been sidelined since. He had started all 12 games to that point and recorded 99 tackles over that span.

The Colts have two other starters banged up coming into Saturday, as right guard Mike Pollak (ankle) and defensive lineman Eric Foster (finger) are listed as questionable.

Boldin did not play in the final two regular season contests because of a shoulder injury, but the Cardinals (9-7) had already clinched the NFC West by then. However, a story on the team's website said he is expected to play.

Boldin has 89 receptions for 1,038 yards and 11 touchdowns in 12 games this season, earning a Pro Bowl selection, and will play a big part if the Cardinals are to beat Atlanta (11-5) in Saturday's NFC Wild Card round matchup at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Abraham, who was third in the NFL in sacks during the regular season with 16 1/2, did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday, and was limited on Friday because of thigh and shoulder injuries.

He started all 16 games for the Falcons, posting 38 tackles in addition to the sacks.

Running back Brian Westbrook (knee, ankle) and tight end L.J. Smith (shoulder) were limited in practice all week and both are listed as questionable.

Offensive tackle Jon Runyan (knee) was held out of practice all week and is also listed as questionable and safety Brian Dawkins, who was a full participant in practice all week, is probable despite battling through a back injury.

Martin did not participate in Wednesday's practice and was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday with a head/neck injury.

The 29-year-old posted 31 receptions for 450 yards and three touchdowns for the AFC East champion Dolphins.

Mason missed practice on Friday with a shoulder injury after being limited in Thursday's workout. He leads the team with 80 catches for 1,037 yards and five touchdowns this season.

Reed has been limited the last two days after skipping Wednesday's practice because of a nagging thigh injury. The Pro Bowl selection led the NFL this season with nine interceptions, returning two for touchdowns.

The Cardinals will host their first postseason game since the franchise moved to Arizona this Saturday, when the upstart Falcons invade University of Phoenix Stadium for an NFC Wild Card round matchup.

Arizona ended a 10-year postseason drought by posting a 9-7 record, good enough for first place in the soft NFC West division and the fourth seed in the conference tournament. It's the club's first winning campaign since 1998, a year when the Cards made the playoffs as a Wild Card and scored an upset over Dallas in the opening round.
